Grantown Bus Routes - Public Consultation
Stagecoach/Highland Council are proposing to withdraw from Grantown the direct bus service to Inverness. This is awful for Grantonians, and it means that the direct bus from Grantown to Raigmore Hospital will be no more.
They are also proposing to withdraw the direct bus service from Grantown to/from Cairngorm Car Park. Again this is awful for Grantonians.
These proposals, and others, are due to come into effect in March 2011; and there is public consultation - see The Strathy on 15/12 - at the G-o-S Service Point on Thursday 16 December 1330 to 1530.
Grantown Community Council and all Grantonians should be fully alert to the awfulness of the proposals.
